Toddler Rooms: 2 – 3 years

 

 

Toddler Room 1

2 years – 2.5 years

In Toddler Room 1 we provide our children with a caring and nurturing environment. We recognise the importance of developing children’s self awareness and confidence whilst also developing the awareness of others. We place a lot of value on the development of social and language skills throughout our program. Staff are also here to assist with guiding your child/ren in the toilet training process. We work with the families to ensure consistency for the child in both the centre and the home environment.

Toddler Room 2

2.5 years – 3 years

Toddler Room 2 provides all children with a safe and educational environment that gives each child the confidence to reach their potential of continuing to grow and develop. Children’s development is tracked through weekly individual observations and the analysis of these allows the staff to program and plan to the children’s strengths and identify focus areas of development. We combine with the Toddler 1 room in our natural outdoor environment to work on developing our gross motor skill, which means strengthening our muscles. We do this through digging in the sandpit, climbing on the equipment, riding bikes and kicking balls.

Giraffe Early Learning Centre Mosman offer quality childcare in Mosman catering for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Our Mosman childcare centre manager Brooke encourages a day care environment that makes the children feel safe whilst enjoying the freedom to express themselves as individuals. Our Childcare Centre provides nutritional meals, nappies and provide a strong foundation for early education.
