Preschool Room 1

4 years – 5 years

Preschool Room 1 is programmed to meet the ever expanding interest and abilities of the children. We focus on a number of themes through out the year including name recognition, number and alphabet recognition and social skills development. All staff support and encourage the children developing independence and communication skills at every opportunity. We have a great natural outdoor environment that we use with the Preschool 2 room to expand and develop our leg muscles through bike riding and ball kicking and arm muscles through digging in the sandpit and climbing on the large equipment.

Preschool Room 2

4 years – 5 years

In Preschool 2 room we have a focus on School Rediness, whilst still programming for individual interests and abilities. In small groups we explore musical and literacy concepts on a daily basis. We also program specific school rediness activities based on literacy, numeracy, fine motor, cognitive and social skills development. This program is based on the children’s needs and family input.

Giraffe Early Learning Centre Mosman offer quality childcare in Mosman catering for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Our Mosman childcare centre manager Brooke encourages a day care environment that makes the children feel safe whilst enjoying the freedom to express themselves as individuals. Our Childcare Centre provides nutritional meals, nappies and provide a strong foundation for early education.
